As Oculus Rift release date comes closer, other manufacturers are starting to get creative with their sale strategy.
These are the 8 PC bundles that will be released on April (can pre-order right now on Amazon):
- Oculus Rift + ASUS Oculus Ready G20CB-WS71 Desktop PC Bundle
- Oculus Rift + ASUS Oculus Ready G11CD-WS51 Desktop PC Bundle

- Oculus Rift + ASUS Oculus Ready G20CB-WS51 Desktop PC Bundle
- Oculus Rift + Alienware Oculus Ready Area 51 Gaming Desktop PC Bundle
- Oculus Rift + Dell Oculus Ready XPS 8900 Desktop PC Bundle
- Oculus Rift + Alienware Oculus Ready X51 R3 i5 16GB Desktop PC Bundle
- Oculus Rift + Alienware Oculus Ready X51 R3 i5 8GB Desktop PC Bundle
All of the mentioned ones are distributed by ASUS, Dell, and Alienware. Price starts from $1,499 and gets as high as $3,149.
The cheapest one, ASUS PC bundle, comes with Intel core i5 6400 2.7 GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB 7200 rpm Hard, and a GTX970 graphics card (click here for G20CB-WS71 review).
The most expensive one, from Alienware, is equipped with Intel core i7 3.3 GHz, 16GB RAM, 2TB Hard Drive, and GTX 980 graphics card.
Right now there is a pre-order bonus, meaning it’s cheaper by 5-12% if you order it before it comes out. It will also come with Eve: Valkyrie game.
However, you might not get the bundle right away. When ordering, it might start shipping either in April, or May even, since Oculus Rift is extremely demanded by customers. Although the bundle itself is very comfortable in terms of having a full VR package, it is a bit pricier compared to if you build your own VR PC. It’s very easy to do, but if you are not into installing, feel free to look into the ones above.
More about the bundles once they come out!
